These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Garaj mobile app and related services ("Service"). By creating an account or using Garaj, you agree to these Terms.
Effective date: April 15, 2026.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Garaj. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
You retain ownership of the content you post to Garaj (including photos, vehicle details, drives, reviews, and comments). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, adapt, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the Service.
You represent that you have the rights to share any content you post and that it does not violate the rights of third parties.
Do not post content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that depicts dangerous driving that endangers others.
Do not impersonate other people, brands, or entities, and do not claim ownership of vehicles that are not yours.
Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service, and do not circumvent rate limits or access controls.
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines. In egregious cases (for example, illegal content or credible threats of harm) we may act without prior notice.
You may add vehicles you own or have permission to document. Maintenance history, inspection reports, and similar records may be transferred with a vehicle when ownership changes. Activity tied to your profile (posts, drives, reviews) remains with you.
We do not verify title or legal ownership of vehicles and make no representations about the accuracy of user-submitted vehicle information.
When you record a drive, the app collects GPS coordinates so it can compute distance, duration, and route. You control whether the route and speed are shown publicly via the privacy settings for each drive.
You are solely responsible for obeying traffic laws while using Garaj. Do not interact with the app while driving. Use a hands-free or passenger-operated device where required.
Some Garaj features may require a paid subscription. Prices, billing intervals, and cancellation terms will be shown in the app before you subscribe. Purchases made through Apple or Google are also subject to their respective terms.
Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable once paid.
You may stop using Garaj at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these Terms or for any other reason consistent with applicable law.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive (for example, content licenses you granted while your account was active, and limitations of liability).
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Garaj is a social and logging tool. It is not a substitute for professional mechanical advice, vehicle inspection, or legal services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Garaj and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.
We may modify or discontinue features from time to time. When we make material changes to these Terms we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Garaj's operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where local law requires otherwise.
